No wing cars will ever be big sellers.  Not in any circumstances or era.  They perform well but the goofy looks are too objectionable for most buyers.  It was true 40 years ago and it's true now.

That is true. The Cobalt ss didn't sell to well wieht the dorky wing on it either.
