Singapore, because of the different cultures.

How does that wall of humidity affect you when you get off the plane?

Not too bad, I couldn't breath for a week, moved there from the Western U.S. I think Eastern U.S. is worse.

Netherlands for friendliness/cleanliness/theater thus far.  Followed closely by Costa Rica for being gorgeous which is tied with Vancouver Island for the same.

Haven't ever left the country. Haven't found a reason to yet, getting close though.  They won't kick me out of the country either, yet

Italy, the Chianti region of Tuscany specifically.  We went there on our honeymoon and I did not want to leave.  The wine, the food, the landscape, the people, the sights - you name it.  Honorable mention to Bermuda though.  That place is beautiful, has great restaurants and bars, amazing beaches and everyone is always happy for friendly.  No stress in sight.

Agreed - the Tuscany region is great.  That is my favorite so far.

I grew up in Belgium so technically this is the my favorite place outside of the country I used to live in...
Ok that's confusing.

I like Austria, Switzerland and northern Italy best I think, it's the mountain air.  Nothing like it.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands.

You'd have to see it to believe how nice it is, as I don't think photos do it justice.  Tiny island, blue water and awesome beaches - and as long as you have mosquito netting at night, it's as close to perfect as I've seen even after looking through magazines.  One of the three restaurants on the island when I was there (1990) would literally haul in their traps from the bay each evening... you had your choice of what they caught.  Otherwise, the menu consisted of what they brought back from a boat trip to town earlier that day.  Really laid back environment.

I've got to agree with you Dino, I was born in Austria and nothing beats the sheer magic of the granite mountains soaring skyward.  But I also love the immense beauty of Sedona, Arizona.  Too many gorgeous places to speak of.
