Over on the Garage Journal site I was reading a topic where someone was asking questions about a 4 post lift. Somewhere in the replies another person posted photos of a 9000 pound, double wide, 2 car lift.   :o   Never saw one until then & thought it was pretty cool & wanted to show it here.

That's one of the options just like casters, jack supports & extra drip trays.

I would hate for something to happen and it fall on the cars under it. Are there safety pins on the lift to prevent that?

Yes, I know I have too many cars. My wife reminds me daily.

Yes, there are safety locks on all newer lifts.  That is the banging sound you hear every 5 seconds or so.

yes they have progressive  locks as the lift goes up , you have to pull the pins before the lift will come back down

The lift is a Bend-Pak. I've seen enough of their equipment in the industrial/manufacturing shops where I've worked that I would trust anything they make. However, as previously mentioned, the prices are nothing to sneeze at...

Yeah, I remember the thread you had trying to figure out & find a lift that would work.   ::)

Friend of mine wants a lift, I was thinking if I get rid of some projects I won't need two & offer to trade one for a Unimog he's got & thinking of selling.   :D

Of course that's a project so I'd need another lift.
