i have a complete power window set up from a 70 charger wiring, regulators switches everything i have bench wired it up and it all works ok, but i was wondering....how strong are these motors they are 30 years old??? do they work well or are they slow and ready to fail? is there a bolt in direct aftermarket replacement motor? stronger? newer? didnt really want to spend a bunch more cash looked at electric life they looked pretty good but no rear window bolts ins and bit pricey has anyone had any experience with rebuilding these little motors??

The motors are available, brand new, on Rockauto.com among others.  Sure is cheaper than rebuilding them.
