The Steeler Rally on Tuesday.  Thought I'd share a few pics for you fans out there.  I got there early and got a good spot.  High fived most of the players, it was awesome. The police lost control early on but it didn't matter because most of them were swinging terrible towels anyway.  I guess 250k people are impossible to control, especially on short notice.  Total pandemonium.  ENJOY.

You didn't show the car carrying the referees...

I thought that was covered in another thread.  ::)  I kind of posted for the out of town fans to enjoy, but I guess you can turn it into another debate.  I guess Troy was right about winter.

If we only won one championship every 100 years, we probably would have topped 3.2 million. ;)

seriously though, most people did have to work.  There were a ton of people I knew that couldn't get off.  Literally told specifically that they had to be at work.  Did not stop me though.

What type of building system do they have out there.  Look at the size of that hill and how they build right on the edge  :o

Ok, back to the thread.

Relax big guy...its a joke about a GAME...you know, like checkers or ping pong...except this one requires an oblong ball, pads and a helmet...You could also call it rugby for girls.

I know it was a joke, I didn't want to turn this thread into another bash the ref/ Seattle got screwed thread.  I'm pretty sure we got at least two of those started.  After my last reply to NH, I'm sure this thread will be about how the Red Sox and Patriots are better than the Steelers and Pirates, my dad is better than your dad, yadda yadda yadda.

The GAME is part of Pitt culture and folklore.  It is much more than a game here, it is a way of life.  Steeler bars and clubs are worldwide.  More so than any other team.  Just trying to give the out of town fans a taste, and keep the thread positive.
