BEA repro 1st gen trunk medallion

Are they making these with the correct brushed finish now?  At one time they were doing them and they were polished but looking at this pic and it looks like they have corrected that.

yup...the first pic looks brushed..the second pic without medallion looks to be polished

Hmm, maybe thats what they did.  Wonder if they'll fix the finish on the repro 2nd gen woodgrain steering wheels too?

Not terribly difficult to remedy.  I had my medalion rechromed about 3 years back.  After it arrived I simply put it on my turntable (remember those  - records!) and with a piece of sandpaper lightly let it go around while gently pressing.
Spray black, wipe off with thinner.  Viola!

Lightly.  All you want to do in reality is scratch the chrome to give it the brushed look.

speaking of new parts, anybody get the front "c" chrome and full taillight assemblies lately?? only place i have seen these items is bea and their shopping cart no worky
any place else for parts/prices, hoping they have a sale for Xmas.
YO new web site can't find anything anymore but they say their prices have come down
