Yep, I bought parts and dont even know what they are for ;D  The one i am real curious about is a gas filler cap assembly. the part number stamped on underside of top lid is 2925878. part number on lower peice is 2823339   I was 99.99%  sure it didnt belong on the vehicle it was currently on, thought it might be an E body part. seeing that it was FREE, it wasnt much of a risk to pick it up. Once i get identified, for laughs, i will reveal what kind of vehicle i found it on.
The second item(s) in question are a couple cruise/turn  stalks i picked up. Do the plugs on these look the same as the ones on 71-74 b bodies? i parted out a 73 or 74 with cruise last year but cant remember if the plug was the same size.

smartass... lol

those cruise stalks look the same as what is on dodge pickups up to 89.

RD, I am serious about the gas cap assy. not joking about that. The cruise stalks arent off a P/U, but wouldnt be surprised if they used the same ones for 10 years on various makes/models to include pick ups.

is 67-68 cuda and 68 charger correct on the gas cap? sorry.... i've never paid close attention to 2nd Gens.

BLAM

The label Fuel on the gas cap did not occur until 1969.  It would not be correct on a 68 Charger.

Thanks    The flip top gas cap was on a 1975 Tradesman van that had been customized "South of the Border style"  shaved door handles, slightly lowered, wide wheels with low profile tires. :smilielol: :smilielol:  I knew the cap didn`t belong on the van but wasn`t sure of its correct application. The van also had a Grant "tuff" wheel on it, which i also grabbed.
