As most of you I'm sure know, since I was younger and joined this site I've always had a fascination with rotting Mopars and the whole Cars in Barns theme. Lately I've been writing a column called "Young Guns" for a friend's newly founded magazine called "The Hot Rodder Journal" (http://www.hotrodderjournal.com/pages/main.htm). He's giving me the oppourtnity to do something I've always wanted to do and that's do a column on people's muscle car finds. That's anything that's sitting in a bush, yard, barn, junkyard etc. Think "Rare Finds" in Mopar Muscle magazine and those type of columns.

In order to do this article, I'm hoping to find some people who would like to share a car they've found. If you'd like to be a part of this column and would like to share some pictures and a story/info on a car you've found, it would be much appreciated. Plus it gives us guys on the forum something more to drool about too ;) I'm hoping to do a mixture of cars people have found that the owner won't sell and then some success stories of cars people have been able to buy :) If you want to be a part of my column but don't want to post, feel free to email me at cole_383@hotmail.com.

*Anything posted on this thread, I won't put in the magazine unless given permission from the poster* :2thumbs:

Thanks a bunch guys!!!

Here's a bunch from the 2012 calendar: http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0Aas2zlu5ctWbtY

While that's cool... those pictures were "borrowed" from this site.  He really needs first person stories of guys going out and finding cool old cars in barns/fields/yards, etc...

Just using it as an example, he needs to do what I do on my blog, or Jerry Heasley does for Muscle Car Review.  Take someones (or first person) adventure, parse it down into an article and then present it in the online magazine.

Best of luck!

Well, all but one was borrowed. I took some pics of the green '66 next to my mother-in-law's house.
