Yep, I still have the gifts he brought when we meet on their Route 66 trip.

It's like an artist's work. It's so much more valuable later on. Something to cherish for sure! I'm sorry for the loss. :'(

Just for your info, Marie was in Seattle-Tacoma area last weekend and she stopped into our place for a few hour visit before she went back home. She's doing good, looks great, and still has the 67 Charger. A member here supplied a drivers door armrest for the car and she says thank you to 69rtse4spd for his gift to her for the car.

She is most welcome. Off on tangent here but my partner at work (just the two of us on 2ed shift) for the last ten years died of a massive heart attack, last Sat. was 63. Was a real shock on Sunday when we found out. Think he was going to retire at end of year after 30 years. Life is to short to worry & work your life away. Get out & have some fun no matter what it is, spend time with family & friends.

I second that agree :2thumbs:
As we get older the stories like this become more common in our lives.  I have a few of my own.

I get asked all the time---when will you retire--  My response is after every job I practice retirement. It is something we all should do every day.
Don't wait for a time or date to relax and enjoy the life you have lived for.

Today marks the 2 year anniversary of Steve's passing...I ask all here for a moment of silence and reflect on what he brought to the forum and our lives.

Thanks, Bryan

Thanks Bryan, a wonderful sentiment.

I talked awhile with Marie this week.  She's doing well.  She had the Big Red Machine out for a show 2 weeks ago and enjoyed it (the driving and the show).  We agreed to get out on the highways next year together and attend all the top shows in Northern CA that we can.

Next time I see her with the Charger I'll snap some pics and post them.

Thanks Bryan.  Made me stop and think today of the wonderful time we had at the CEMA show in 2011.

Saturday May 2, my wife and I spent a wonderful afternoon with Marie. She is doing great, and sends regards to everyone in Charger land.  Pics of a happy Marie and BioHazard. The Toxic Orange paint blazes in the sun.

She had her "BioHazard" Challenger out on a morning road rally with the Northern CA Challenger Club.  Then we met at a car show.  Big Red (the '67 Charger) will be out for a show Memorial Day weekend.  And she's looking forward to Mopar Alley in San Jose in June, and seeing old friends Bryan and Dan (the other Dan).  I understand Bryan will be coming a long ways from the North West territories to help get Big Red to the show.

Marie had over one hour as a passenger in a Hellcat that morning, with plenty of time over 100 mph, and was awestruck.  She is still all smiles about her V6 Challenger, but said the Hellcat will be long remembered.

Anyway, she's in a good place with life and her career, and is happy and healthy.
