like someone said in that thread also a battery cut of device so they cant hire wire it.

IM gonna assume though they pushed it out of his garage far enough to start the car. I know starting these cars are like a beast sound and cant be ignored and wake up neighbors too....

Don't even need to start it... ever seen a repo guy's tow bar rig?    Get the car on the street and he can back his truck up then remotely bar and lift the wheels from underneath - he's gone before you know he was there.    Anyone into professional muscle car snatching is probably smart enough to invest in one of those rigs.    I plan on GPSing my car and putting a motion sensing camera in my garage that will sound an alarm ON TOP of the standard battery disconnect, etc.   Now that I think about it a wheel boot might not be a bad idea either.

yeah this was years & years ago 22ish years back ! , daily drivers !  ,   one was stolen out side my parents house  , had rigged up a cut out switch on ignition  ,  but so the police said , pushed the  pushed the car round the corner &  spent over a hour , tracing the wiring , i forget exactly now , police caught the guy , never got car started,
 nother one , guy jumped in the driver seat with the engine running  & drove off,   , was selling the car

Great news!  That's the second stolen mopar recently that was recovered.  Too bad the interior is hacked but I'd be super happy myself if my car was found.

i'm amazed it's worth stealing a car, it's not like you can just go and register it to drive around (unless you're rebodying or changing the tags or can otherwise get new title on it). be a shame to cut it up for parts.

If you're getting it for free and you dont care about cars just getting a little cash, cutting up a rare car for parts is plenty profitable from the criminal point of view.
