As a huge Star Wars dork, I am happy to see Disney buy the Star Wars franchise. Lets face it, ROTJ was not even that great, not to mention Lucas's last three Star Wars films. Lucas tried to do to much himself and surrounded himself with yes men.

I believe Disney can bring back the greatness of the franchise.

I agree. The less input from Lucas the better they will be. I'm optimistic they will be decent.

All Disney has to do is release a Blu-ray copy of the first movie with Han Solo shooting first again - that'll make at least $2 billion back right there.

A Tarantino SW movie would be pretty much the exact opposite of the SW prequels.  That has good and bad points.  

I dunno who I would pick but it wouldn't be him.

Yea, I thought 4 billion was a little cheap myself.  I would think owning the right to just the toys would be worth 4 billion.  Star Wars Legos line is huge.

Growing up with the original trilogy made these movies special.  The new trilogy kinda ruined that though.  And now Disney's doing the tail end huh?  Oh well....
