I dunno. I think apples and oranges. This is a modern car... with styling related to the classic, but the application is still completely modern. I hate rubber bands on old cars, but done right on a new car like this... filling up the wheel well, right stance, with some truly nice rims in proportion to the modern styling... that's different...

NO NO NO...don't you get it? It's gotta be 14" steelies. Any trend, concept, idea, design, or product made after 1977 sucks. That's why I listen to Foghat and rock a mullet!

I know some day I won't have a clue of what kids are up to. But theres a difference between "trying to participate" and at least staying informed and not assuming anything new isn't good.  if I ever become one of those "everything sucks now compared to how it was when I was a young stud" codgers, please kick me in the balls.

Well I hope I'm not that.  I might sound that way sometimes but its more how it comes across in this format and in this case my only point was really just to show that its normal for me to be out of touch with what someone else would define as pop culture (keeping in mind of course that within my demographic, what is "pop" is very different).  I'm open to anything but even if like the lyric or melody, a 20 year old black man from LA is not writing music for or about my life experience as a middle aged white guy in the rural midwest.  And THAT is normal and natural for us all.
