906 440 heads

Don't have the head in front of me but are the heads from a 440 (906) heads date coded that shows on the outside of the head?  Also, are all the years of the 906 heads the same? What years did they come out?

No date codes outside, you'll need to pull the valve covers.

The 906's were used in the '68-'70 model years.
