How Does One Go About Finding an Original Engine?

Any tricks out there other than putting ads out or whatever.  Not sure if it even exists anymore, but if it does would like to get my hands on it, more than likely  blown many years ago.  Have check with last 2 owners, but they never had it, cannot find the previous one, not sure how many owners there were.  How would you go about doing this, it is worth the effort IMO.  Thanks.

Your best bet would be to get a title check first.  Some states do it, others don't. It will take a while, but you get a list of everyone who owned it before you.  Then, it's just doing some asking around.  You might check with the registries and see if something shows up.

but all you can do is look ! , 

put wanted ads out on various mopar web sites ,  :shruggy:   local car clubs in the area your car come from  :shruggy:
