It's rare there is even one other Charger at a local show I attend.

This is a first class 3rd gen. 400 4 speed fy1!

Very cool.  Only thing that would make it better was if they were the same color. :2thumbs:  I guess you could throw in the Daytona and 500 in there as well.

Was it a judged show?  It would have been impossible for them to pick a best of show.

No the other owners picked the winners. It was a great show sponsored by 2 big local car clubs. Most of the cars there were Fords and Chevys. The only Mopars to win was a nice 40 Plymouth and a 2010 Challenger. I think both were club members. I heard a couple of club members talking and giving each other car numbers to vote for. No Mopar respect but no big deal.

Ghoste

That sucks but you're right, no big deal.  Mopar envy has been going on a long time and will continue for years to come I imagine.

JB400

They just don't know a great car when they see one :icon_smile_big: :2thumbs:

And bad for us when there is little interest in our 'old cars' when we go to sell.   :Twocents:
(but that will be a l o n g time from now.......)
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

green69rt

I really miss seeing more Mopars at the shows (and on the street.)  They all seem to disappear into another dimension after a show.  Mine will be seen as much as I can drive it.  Houston is a real wasteland for muscle cars.  I wonder why?  I was originally from KC and you see many more old cars there.

We have some pretty nice old Mopars around here.  Not sure but I think it has to do with being so close to a big city like StLouis.  Just the # of people in the Metro area makes it more likely for some one to have an old Mopar :shruggy: :Twocents:
