Its not important but I was wondering how the wing uprights were manufactured?
I was talking with someone and they believe the upright was cast and only the horizontal piece was extrude.

wingless now, but still around.

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

No way they were 6 inches taller like the guy recalls.

I got a race wing on mine....same dimensions as others...but mine only has 3 studs in each upright. The 4th stud was replaced by cable from side to side.

My center piece has 8 set screws as well to lock it in place...I think I showed it to Doug back in 'Dega in '99

Racing wings were taller?  :scratchchin:

Goes to show how accurate "recollections" are.   Nothing against the guy. It WAS a long time ago....  And he's supposed to remember specifics about "just another job" ??
That's why original vintage photos and documentation are needed for guys like us with "old" cars!!   :Twocents:

Try and make that point in some cases.

A picture to back anything up is always a good idea.  Be my luck someone would be looking at it upside down.

Exactly.  That whole country is upside down.  I bet he has to mount his computer upside down just to read what we're saying.  Either that, or stand on his head. :nana:

Actually I'm having trouble deciphering the sentence Bryan. Not because it's upside down but because it's back to front. In my country, we read from left to right.......you've written it from right to left. You need to do better.
