Radiator support paint colour

What was the factory colour for the front of the radiator supports, body colour or were they blacked out ?. Mine were black when I got the car but looked to me to have been body colour originally. The car is yellow and I dont reallt want to see that through the grille !

How much did you black out , just the sides ?, I was thinking of doing the bottom rail as well . i cant remember how much was visible with teh grille in place.

If you are talking about the front part of the rad support which is right behind the grille, that area to my knowledge was blacked out at the factory.  The back side (engine side) should be painted body color.  I think the reasoning they blacked out the front part behind the  grille was to blend it in with the grille and not to have a bright body color showing through the grille.  I remember reading an article someplace about the exact way it was shot also.  Either they shot it upwards from down below or from up above shooting downward.
