too funny. I run a sound n light co working for local bands..I used to have a high top wheelchair van for hauling the gear, complete with school bus type door on the pass side..I threatened  to pick up my 13 year old stepdaughter with it at middle school if she continued to cause trouble..she did NOT like the idea!

Ghoste

Fortunately they both think the Charger is cool.  Wasn't at work today so no pics yet.

Ghoste

This is the car.

Ghoste

The rear of course.  (in case anyone cares)

I see absolutely nothing wrong with it.  I don't know why your eldest wouldn't like it.  Maybe she would have liked something like that dark blue one, instead. ( I want to say cabriolet, but not sure.)  I'm not to familiar with that era of car.

The cop car is very cool.  I spy a lot of awesome cars in that garage!!!! :2thumbs:

The dark blue one is a Duesenberg Model J, forget the year and coachbuilder but it's a dual cowl.   I would check but I'm not in that building today.

There is actually one in the trunk of that thing and had I known she was going to react like that, you better believe I would have put it on and had the video cam going.

:popcrn:  how about this one it has a max wedge short cross ram motor in it .
GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

JB400

That would have been funny to arrest your daughter right at school. :smilielol:

Charger RT

I would love to test drive that police car. I get tired of test driving these new ones. The crown vic is boring with no power and the chevys they are getting look ugly. I wish they would get a charger. We do have an undercover 300 but it has the 2.7 in it.

I love our Crown Vic's.  Plenty of power and they can take the all the abuse we give them.  I am going to miss them.

Well, that makes one person.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

One of the best cars I had.  Bought from my local police department - 4 years old for $2k with 75k miles.  Sold it 3 years later with 150k miles and it was virtually trouble free. :2thumbs:

Ghoste, great story & pictures. I can just see that look on your girls face looking out of the corners of her eyes trying to see if any of her friends are looking. What museum do you work at ghoste ?

She looks me dead in the eye and calmly replies, "they're all going to be riding in the back seat someday".
