Hook up Battery - Front right turn signal and rear brakes are on !!

So I just installed a new engine harness and new bulkhead connection ( the piece that is actually in the firewall)  I got everything done and when to hook up the battery.

As soon as I put the terminals on the battery my front right turn signal is flashing and my brake lights are on.  It doesn't matter where i turn the signal switch to in the car the blinker keeps flashing.

So I THINK I must have some wires mixed up on the bulk head on the interior side ?? There is no way it could be something on the dash is it??

Just wondering if anyone can give me a quick answer??

 what year ? charger ?  why did you change the harness , ? was every thing ok before ?

There had been some sort of short the connection of the fuseable link was damaged, and had melted the connection inside the fuseable link.  I went a head and replaced the entire engine harness since I have also upgraded to electronic ignition ( was done before harness was replaced and working fine ).

No my hazards are not on , I only see the front passanager side signal flashing and the brake lights seem to be on constant.

I miss understood what your were asking. I just went and checked. You were right !!! My flasher switch was on!!!!  As well as my lights.

Question though , home come only one side seemed to be flashing? and why were my tail lights constant and not flashing??

I turned it off and on again, both blikers at front were flashing but nothing at the back, a faulty switch??
