4 speed cross member debocal

ok i think i opened up a can of worms LOL. Is there any difference between a 70 b-body cross member auto or manual??  And 2. what is the difference between 68 and 69 cross members then the 70?? ron

'70 is the same for both; the '68 and '69 had the mount inside the crossmember for the 4-speed and in a bucket forward of the crossmember for the automatic.

In '70 they moved the 4-speed mount pad forward on the tailhousing to be in the came location as the automatic.

Also - The 70 went to smaller bolts. The 69's have a larger hole through the floor cross member.
