What I've thought about doing is getting some vintage Mopar sheet metal/parts and constructing my own urn to hold what's left of me after getting torched.

Beats getting stored for all eternity in a receptacle of questionable materials, probably manufactured in some 3rd world country.

I think at that point it really won't affect you one way or the other.   

Of course it won't effect me.....but you mentioned the headstone having something on it, which really doesn't have any effect on the who's been planted either.

If my "remains" are going to be hanging around on someone's coffee table, I'd like them to be in something cool.

My cars will be sold before I get cold and i doubt my wife will waiste any of the now her money on a fancy grave stone.  I will be lucky to have my name etched on a rock

I don't see why we should have to waste such a lot of money on a coffin either. What a rip off.........money better spent elsewhere.
Dead is dead, what difference can it possibly make if you're in a $5000.00 coffin or just chucked into a hole in the ground dug by the wife. (and/or her lover)
