AM probably going to get the M&H harness when Yearone is having a sale.

Do you order the Rally harness even if no clock/tach?

My temp gauge and ammeter are working (except for it may be the Gremlin)

Is it RT engineering that has ammeter gauges that have been updated.

My oil pressure and fuel gauge is not working.

I also need the insert as mine is cracked.

I already have the non-working AM radio out.
Hoping to get a working, better, direct fit radio.

Speedo / odometer are working.

I have taken down and done a 69 GTO and 71 Javelin etc. instrument panel/dash cluster but not a 74 B Body.

Any good links to what I am in for,
tips, etc.

Thank you.

Let's see if I can answer all your questions in order.
Yes, rally harness.
If the gauges are not working the place to start would be the limiter/regulator. That is available from several places including http://rt-eng.com/rte/index.php/Image:Ivr4limiter.JPG
As far as the glass insert, there was a fellow on the third gen site that was reproducing them but I don't know if h has any more available. See http://wichargerguy.proboards.com/thread/15201/rallye-dash-lens-last-call
Then you will have to drop the steering column, remove the screws from the front that are visable, several from under the dash including possibly the heater controls to pull the cluster out.

Hope that helps.

Thanks.

I can't get it to let me send him a message,
but if anyone knows the guy and has a contact that would be great.

Those lenses look great.

HARNESSES are the same between all 3 rallye clusters. The only differences are:

Clock ones: get a wire to be powered from ammeter stud

Tach ones: get an extra harness, not part of main underdash harness

So, as far you order for RALLYE cluster, you'll get the right one.

Amm is an independient gauge from the rest.

IF Temp gauge is working, then limiter is good.

Oil/Gas gauge is a one piece assembly on THAT cluster ( separated pieces on the other ones ), althought wired independient one from the other:

Some times they float on on ebay
