Just wondering what size TV's you guys have in the bedroom?  I've got 43" in our bedroom and the wife loves it.  How big is yours?

Depends on how big the room is.  I'm in a room that's 18x30 approx. 32" is fine for me.

Its not the size, its how you place it in relation to everything else. I only have 40", and the wife is very pleased with it.

Same reason people put tv in the bathroom

I've got a 32" flatscreen Sony wall mounted on a swing arm about 6 feet up,  its about 10-12 feet from the headboard of the bed when swung into position.  Wife likes it, i hardly ever watch that one, I'm usually parked in front of the 58 inch plasma in the next room, or the 26 inch in the garage.

Bedroom is 18x15 in size

Mines about 7 foot high on center on the wall and about 15 feet from the pillows.  I like it but 43" seems a bit big for a bedroom.

I had a 27 inch tv in the bedroom, then our living room tv got a thin green line across the very top of the screen.  Not enough to bug us really but since Sony decided to offer us a bigger tv for a lot less money we took it.  I thought it was obvious that this tv should go in the bedroom.  It's 55" and I love it!

I don't need one either, but I do have one. It's a 19" with a built in DVD player that hasn't been plugged in yet. It's been collecting dust for 3 years now because there's no CATV wire where we want to put it.

Very large equipment can be uncomfortable and unsightly for a woman in such an intimate environment. Even with proper placement and initial attention to preparation some type of anti-friction solution may be the only path for proper fitment.  :D

Whats next, are you guys gunna start comparing the size of your computer monitors? by the way I had a 48" plasma that was awesome, I never knew T.V. could be so real.... But when the wife left me all she wanted was the T.V. out of the marriage. best 800.00 investment ever!  :yesnod:of course i had a per-nuptial on all my big stuff

if no cable available, try the wireless video transmitter devices, they work, just not as good as cable.  I use one for watching movies in the garage, the garage has basic cable wired but the box/transmitter is needed to watch pay channels.

Wow, a 55 inch in the bedroom,  seems like overkill to me, but some enjoy tv more than others.

With teens in the house, sometimes we get moved out of the family room area (sleepovers etc) so an alternate tv source is welcomed even if not used near as often.

Computer monitors?  I have dual 23 inchers mounted on a swingarm next to the lazyboy chair, so i can watch tv and play on the pc at the same time.  multitasker...

Trust me, I would never buy a 55 inch tv for a bedroom, but if it's there and you have nowhere else to put it....  :yesnod:

For the wife after all that work!! Everyone knows a man goes right to sleep, but a woman needs to watch TV after she does the dishes and vacuums the floor.   :nana:

Is there another fix for hiding wires other than a cut in box?   Been this way since last year when I got the wall mount.
