Mmm, thats sharp, thats the crowning glory  :yesnod:.

Disapointed mine has been blacked out, just how it is at the moment.

You notice nearly every picture of a 68 grille has a kaleidoscope effect going on?

Thanks, but other than cleaning it & putting it back together, I can'ttake the credit. However, I do give mucho credit to this guy for the trim...

The paint on the grille was handled by two people; the body shop I use painted the wide portions of the grille, then he sent it out to a pin-striper to paint all of the faces of the vertical & horizontal fins, including the pieces behind the headlight doors. And I'll tell you; the nomional fee that the pin-striper charged makes HUGE difference and was worth every penny.

That's what happens with low resolution pictures. Unfortunately, you can't upload better quality pictures here.

I thought it happened when you resized the pic, because the full sized pic of my 73 in my avatar pic doesn't show it.  :shruggy:

Bill is a great guy. He anodized my grill trim back in 2001. He did a great job and its been holding up well.

Switching gears, or I should say, bearings and syncros, this is the other project I'm tackling this weekend.....

Other than being .030 o/s, it's all stock and it should make in the area of 425-450 hp. Looks like it's getting dyno'ed Wednesday afternoon.  :2thumbs:

just a word of advice and it opened a big can of worms , I believe the 68 strip followed the boot shape meaning it v'd in the centre, I painted mine on ,but this was really a sore point with my buddies, but I went through countless factory photo's gorgeous car and fantastic work ,
