I'm surprised you haven't learned yet.  Ask for the opposite of what you want, and you'll get what you want.

Charger is looking good so far.  I'd like to see those tires leave some marks on the pavement though :drive:

Mother Nature is a whore.

I've been saying that for years.

I wish she was, then I could just nicely pay her for services rendered and be satisfied that I got what I wanted.  I think she is a lot more like an ex-wife.

I was thinking more like a wife... You never know how much your gonna get or how long it will last.  I guess an ex-wife could be like that too.

Any updates on this Mark? As good as you've been doing with this one, you've probably put a few miles on it by now.

Simply stunning! Absolutely love it!

The only way that you could improve that car would be to paint it orange and put an 01 on the side...

:leaving:

Seriously though, great work!!!

Last weekend, I went snowmobiling with my eldest son & his girlfriend (her first time on a sled), so nothing was done then. But I've been slowly working on stuff that doesn't really show; assembling the reat brakes &, emergency cables adjusted, getting the steering column put back together, making final adjustments on the windows, etc. I just got my dash pod back & I put all the switcvhes back in last night. The dash bezels are due back in 2-3 weeks & once they're here, I can get the dash assembled & installed along with the windshieldand back glass. Hopefully, the wiper motor will come in next week & I've got a bunch of stuff out being re-chromed which should be done in mid-late February.  :2thumbs:

Not much to report on the car, but I got the steering column reassembled & the wiper motor just came back. The grille pieces are out geting new silver paint applied & the dash faceplates should be back within a couple of weeks.   :2thumbs:

With shipping, it was about $300.00.

Noithing too exciting lately; I worked on cleaning up a bunch of stuff today to get zinc plated & rebuilt the shifter body. The next project will be cleaning & assembling the console.

The console is wast together & then I took the 4-speed apart on Sunday. The synchros weren't that bad, but they'll be replaced anyway. The grille pieces should be ready this week & my Magnum wheels have been shipped. Unfortunately, the chroming parts have been delayed a month.   :brickwall:

Where'd you get the Magnums? And what size are they?
Did you end up with Redline Radials as well? Where'd you got them and what size for those if you don't mind.
Thanks

Mytur Binsdirti

I got the wheels from Wheel Vintique & the redline tires from Diamond Back. I have 275/60/15 & 8" wheels fro the rear & 215/60/15 on 6" wheels for the front. I think it'll give that retro look with wide tires on the rear & thinner tires on the front, plus, it should have a bit of a rake to it.

Except for the redlines I went with the same setup for the same reasons. :2thumbs:

Thanks, cool set up , can't wait to see it when done.
Was going to do the 275/60/15s on 8" wheels as well, but have been debating on redlines or raised whie letter of some sort.
I like the idea of the retro look with the smaller wheels up front, but won't that effect handling ( and put undue stress on front end components) , or is that not an issue?

charge69

Well. 1969 Hemichargers came stock with F70-15 bias-ply wide ovals on 6" rims so, his setup will be close to original width and a little shorter. Not much to worry about and will make a great combo. Looking forward to seeing pics of it myself.

The grille trim just  back from Special T Bill's today & I picked up the grille pieces from having the silver repainted this afternoon. Here's this weekend's project, providing I'm not cleaning snow all weekend..

That's who did my trim,he did a great job !!!!

Mytur Binsdirti

The trim looks better than the parts that I bought new (for my old Hemi Charger) from Chrysler 30 years ago......
