Not bad for 3 months, if I do say so myself.  :icon_smile_big:

The whirly jig was awesome to do the work I did to it, but I now feel like I reached a milestone now that it's on the ground. The next big projects to tackle are the new vinyl roof, headliner & grille.

wow
nice build, nice car. great job :drool5:
when all you own is a hammer, every job  resembles a nail.

Simply stunning! Absolutely love it!

The only way that you could improve that car would be to paint it orange and put an 01 on the side...

:leaving:

Seriously though, great work!!!

I wanna see that car out in the sun...the camera you are using does that color no justice....

PS---what will be the permanent wheels?  Steelies & dog dishes?  You prolly said it before...
Chris' '69 Charger R/T

Well, here it is ouside on a cloudy day. It's a funny color; under flourescent lights, it looks bronze, but outside, it changes to rosey bronze. The car originally came with dog dish caps (I still have the steel wheels), but I'm going to get a set of 15" magnums with 60 series redline radials......if I can find some good ones.

BTW, I'm really bummed out that Cooter hasn't chimed in.

Homerr

Never mind your feud, the car looks great!

I dig the color, I've never seen it in person and hope I see one at some point.

Noticed that with my bronze car too, it can really change with the light.

Radials???  :o   I'm starting to feel lightheaded...
Kidding.  :icon_smile_wink:
The car looks frikkin' beautiful. LOVE the color.  :drool5:
Check out Diamondback Classics for the redline radials. I'm ordering a set from them soon as well.

Looks like the roof is sanded? Will it be getting a vinyl top?  :scratchchin:

Unfortunately, the meatiest redlines Diamondback carries are 225/60/15. I'd like to get 255/60/15. Any other suppliers?

I got the car with a vinyl roof on it, but I peeled it off because there was no seams in the A pillars & because no moldings were ever installed, all of the edges were curling. I may see if I can put the new one on next weekend.

Yes, they offer a 255/60. Click on the "Specials" link from their home page. Here is a direct link, it's based on the Firestone Firehawk. (BTW, that's what I'm ordering also.)  :2thumbs:
