Don't know, don't have the Broadcast sheet. My Uncle thats in his 60's came over to look at it. He was buying new Mopars in the 60's & remembers these lights. He seen it & said cool you got one of those, I said one of what, what is it?? He said you don't know what that's for? I said no. He pulled it loose & then pulled it about 10 feet like a YO-YO on a string (wire in this case) He said if you got a flat at night you could pull this light out to see to change the tire. Not sure if Factory. If so may make my car 1of 1? LEON.

After work today, I'm going to drop the engine in & if I feel ambitios, maybe even the transmission. If I have no interuptions, all day Saturday will be devoted to the car.  :2thumbs:

:drool5:, Wish I could get a whole day just to work on the cars. Pulling 12s & working 7 days a week, just don't cut it, at least my part looks (fabulous),.

Did you turn the key?

Why yes. I even test drove it up and down the street.

Awesome !!!!!  :2thumbs:

Just because, I have to ask, in the spirit of learning more, but is your '68 a late year production? I notice the typical-4-69-and-later wiper motor....

That moment of getting the motor in the car is a very nice and fulfilling event........

My car was built in June. The date code on the wiper motor(4/68) is correct for the car. It also has a '69 style ash tray and there are no square chrome buttons on the upper corners of the map pockets. Also, the holes are drilled for the '69 hood release latch in the upper grille frame.

Excellent... It is always nice to know in the event something like this was to come across my plate and me not write it off as "not original to the car"......  :2thumbs:
