Pep Boys car show in Phoenix

Pep Boys in Phoenix is opening a speed shop. They had a grand opening car show today. Pretty sweet deal. No entry fee, free lunch for entrants, door prizes, and every entrant gets a gift card from $10 to $50. Plus they had a mobile chassis dyno set up, two pulls for free. Got some pics of the Mopars and a few other interesting things.

I have some videos of a few of our club members cars on the dyno machine. My camera is not so good. Quality is poor. I couldn't wait to get my 72 on the machine. It is really a thrill to do that. Some of the guys had to be coaxed a little to put there cars on it. Afterword though, they were glad they did.

First one is the Green Drag On. It's a .030 over 440 stroker. It made HP in the mid 500's and torque in the mid 600's. At the wheels.

This is another 66 Charger, he has 1000 miles on the new stroker motor he built. Needs some tuning yet.
