I say try it and see what happens.  Either way, you won't hurt it any.  Just make sure you properly prep it first berore painting.

no one paint can I have used worked, neither engine or VHT. I'm thinking on a ceramicoat industrial treatment

That seems strange to me that your tips are getting so hot that high temp paint is burning off.  Good luck my friend, I hope you find what works. (and ceramic my well be the only thing)
