I call them up to ask a few questions about a 440 stroker kit. They dont offer a 8 to 1 piston, said I would have to add $400 for a set of Ross custom pistons. :brickwall:  So now the kit costs $2400.00.

Next question I asked if they would cut a second keyway in the crank... they will do that for an additional $300.00  :o
Now we're up to $2700.00.

I call a local performance shop and they said they could cut the keyway for $35.00. Am I missing something here???

So things are on hold until  I can collect a little more info about these guys. Who has had any dealings with them? Good? Bad?

Charger-Bodie

I bought a stroked short block from them and it was awesome and they were great to deal with.

Out of curiosity, would you be willing to share more information about the problems your friend ran into?

I am not trying to stir anything up, just get more information.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Seams like they seam to forget about the little guys that got them started. Have a 446 that I got from them about 6 years ago, runs fine. My buddy's brother is having a hard time getting them to finish his Hemi, all they told him was, waitting on the push rods. That was at the Mopar Nat's., well over 20,000.00 he has spent so far. But since I do not know all the facts  :Twocents:.

69rtse4spd

P.S. they have lost my buddys bussiness & mine.

Ghoste

Are they waiting on pushrods then or does your buddy's brother not believe them?

69rtse4spd

They say they are waiting on push rods.

Ghoste

I don't know but to me and not to sound like I'm taking sides but if they really can't get pushrods it's kind of hard to blame them for it.
