Personally I'd go for a 2013 model over the 2015, but they still look better then ANY "Charger" in production 1975-onward...  :Twocents:

Fixed that for ya!   :2thumbs:

I think it looks great... Especially the side profile shot the roofline going into the fastback... I like the fact that they are going to have a 307 HP 4 banger in it as well!!! and right hand versions as well..
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

So much for coming out with a "New" Mustang. :rotz:  To me, it looks like they didn't venture to far from the one that is currently in production. Basically, a new hood, and extended the quarter windows into the door.

I guess I'm just about as disappointed with this car as I am with the new Vette.  I'll have to see what Chrysler brings out next year. :popcrn:

Not a fan of Mustangs in general but I like it...even though it kinda looks like an Accord coupe.

Can't argue with those power #'s though.

Chrysler better step it up. Kind of a moot point for me, since I don't foresee buying a new car anytime in the next 5 years.

In all honesty, it will probably be a really fun car to drive.  I can't wait for the spring when Avis has the 5.0's for rental like always...  Gonna drive the SH!T outta one  :2thumbs:.  I still remember when I first started working where I do now, "Sir we can upgrade your rental to a 2013 Mustang GT Convertible for no charge"  :drool5:.  Hop in, it's all black with 57KM on it.  Needless to say the guy looked at me funny the next morning when I brought her back looking extremely tired with 1300KM now on the odometer... :D

Oh Americans...  You see, the rest of the world uses what's called the "Metric" system, a foreign concept I know.  Just to please the 'Murica in you, 1300 KILOMETERS...   :nana:

It's 807 miles.  Or 201 trips down the quarter :drive: :drive: :drive:

Looks pretty good to me, but I'd be more interested to see if the wife likes it, I'm trying to get her into a 2 door, as we don't need a 4 door anymore, she'd be more apt to go after the 6cyl or 4cyl over the v8, which is fine with me.  I'm not giving up the challenger yet, but she's due for a new car next fall when the eldest graduates, it'd be a good time to pass on the nissan to the kid, if she wants to buy it for a good price.

Nose looks like a jaguar to me, and i'm not that into euro imports, but know she likes them.

If the car looked the way we really want then it would sacrifice many advantages of a modern car.  And we would complain about that.

FINALLY they gave the Mustang an independent rearend.  It's long overdue.

Ghoste

I like it, not in the market for a Ford but I think they did a good job of combining the Aston Martin with the Accord and retaining some retro.  You can't do a retro car and then abrubtly change, you have to back away and I think Ford did that over the past few years.

Thanks for the correction   Worn out buttons on the phone

A lot of them do.  I would suspect it has as much to do with image and warranty than anything.  :icon_smile_big:

That must be the one where getting in right hook. Looks like Ford will beat Dodge to a huge share of the aussie market.

Does Dodge even still participate much in the Australian market?

gschmidt211

I thought they tried that with the new Fusion.

Yes I think that one started in Europe didn't it?

Lord Warlock

The wife likes the looks of the new mustang, so there is a chance I can get one of those in the future, we'll be in the market around Sept of next year, maybe they'll be out by then. It will likely have a six or the four in it if available in the US.

With 300HP, the 4 should be more then enough for her.  Plus it won't have the torque of the 6 or the 8, so in theory; it will be 'more safe'.  :D

Can't wait for the spring, AVIS HERE I COME! :icon_smile_big:
