why do they have to make cars like spaceships just because its the future? The japanese have been doing this for decades....

Fred

I'm slowly starting to get use to them.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

I'll try to get focused on when the new Charger will came back, more than how will be the rest of models

I have heard since 99 we'll get a new Charger on production, and still waiting for it
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

Looks cool.  It'll look better choking on tire smoke from a new SRT.

This is a car that had to evolve. Right now the current Mustang is the last true pony car on the market - big v8 up front and a live axle out back. With that being said, Ford has really done a remarkable job with a platform that dates back to the 1970's. The Mustang will be lighter, a bit smaller in dimensions and will most likely offer a V8, however I'd bet we're going to see a twin-turbo version of the ecoboost engine in there. Turbo's are nothing new to Mustangs. They had the SVO and Turbo Capri's of the 1980's and honestly, they were pretty good cars.

In order for them to compete with the new Camaro Ford HAS to revamp the car. I've driven the new GT500, Boss 302 and actually just bought a '13 GT, however for when it comes to flat out performance in corners, the Camaro wins hands down. Straight line stuff still belongs to the Mustang however. As for Chrysler... we'll see what the new Cuda' offers, but that's still some time off.

Mike, were are the pictures and details of the new ride?   My Power Tour this year had a new 2013 GT500 and that car is a beast..... :2thumbs:
My name is Mike and I'm a Moparholic!

Pretty basic car. 2013 GT base model with the track pack,6-speed manual and Recaro seats.

In my opinion there is no better performance car on the market for the money. 420 hp/390 lb.-ft. of torque, 0-60 in 4.5 seconds, .92 on the skid pad.

RIDELIKEHELL

Great performance numbers Mike

I'm sure the Model A owners said "What? The new for '67 Mustang/Camaro/Cuda looks like a spaceship"....

But that redering is Fugly..

Dino

Not hating it, expected worse, just not feeling it.  I see a bit of the cobra stang in there or whatever they were called, the ones before the 05 model.  So this is just the rendering?  Meaning that's the best they could come up with and now they'll take all the good stuff away to make it into a production car?  Oh boy...   :nana:
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

ACUDANUT

I'd like to see a Mustang that looks more like the 71-72 years> I liked those.

FLG

My bud actually just got a 2013 GT California Special....very nice looking car

Open the doors and your greeted with this on the floor

Dont have a good pic of his, but looks nice with the added functional hood vents and other ascetics.

There's nothing wrong with that.

So much for coming out with a "New" Mustang. :rotz:  To me, it looks like they didn't venture to far from the one that is currently in production. Basically, a new hood, and extended the quarter windows into the door.

I guess I'm just about as disappointed with this car as I am with the new Vette.  I'll have to see what Chrysler brings out next year. :popcrn:

myk

HIDEOUS.  The current Mustang is perfect, IMO.  Personally, I think they peaked with the '99-04 Saleen Extreme (Hollywood Homicide), but that's just me...

This Aston martin is not bad all hopefully they can win over some Americans since the euros love it Lready.

TUFCAT

I love it. Can't stop looking at it. It has to be the best execution of a "redesigned retro car" ever. That's very hard to do. Ford did a great job.

Cooter

Agreed. At least they didn't follow the popular thing today and make something hideous looking to where they all look like Audi.

Looks like a Fusion in the front with way too much front overhang - lacking overhang in the back.   :Twocents:

Besides, it not a MoPar , so I don't give a f...    :coolgleamA:
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Mytur Binsdirti

I just bought one of these a couple weeks ago....

444 hp @ 7,500 rpm out of a normally aspirated 302 in a 3,650 lb car is a lot of fun.

Send me your dictionary, Tuffy.  There isn't anything retro about it

6spd68

Personally I'd go for a 2013 model over the 2015, but they still look better then ANY "Charger" in production 2006-onward...  :Twocents:
