oh and about the ebay bid started at 20k and stayed there, had over 1k views and about 18 watchers but no bids reached my reserve of 32k.

I have had plenty of calls on my car and most of them are in the 15-20k range which is understandable but I like most of us on here know the price ranges of old classic muscle cars especially ones that are pretty much original or being sold with original parts like my engine, so yeah I am firm on my $32k price and if it sells it sells if not I'll gladly put her in storage or continue to drive her and then when I'm 50-60 and had all the fun I want out of her I'll swap out the 440 and put the original back in and show car her till my youngest is old enough to drive her responsibly and he will get it

That's because in today's market, that's what it's worth.

totally agree what the owner feels the cars worth and what the market can bear are two different things and can get emotional...

Looking at the sheet I see axle code 57  or what looks like 57. if so gear ratio would be 3:91 sure grip with 10 " drums. This would be odd for a 318 car? LEON.

That's because in today's market, that's what it's worth.  

I have to agree.  Unfortunately, the car is what it is.  If it was an RT, sure, 318 car, no dice.   

Again, I did not want you to think I disrespect you, but since there were few posts, it just seemed strange.

There are many sites you can look at and people to call to firm up that it will be really hard to get close to $30k.   There are many great deals on cars that are RT's or big block cars.

Looks like the original B7 color, according to build sheet.

the original paint according to the build sheet and fender tag is b7 which is a blue metallic, how ever the paint I went with is called hyper blue metallic.

Ok i see the posts and points about the price for a 318 but i am not selling it at as a 318 car, i am selling it as a 440 car with the original 318 to go with it. And yes I know that since the 440 isnt original that doesn't drive the price up but I am banking on someone to buy it that might have the same plan I had which is to drive her and have fun then when done having fun put the 318 in her and have a number 1 show car

for the price though people exepect a matching numbers car most things over 30k in 2nd gens people expect a matchign numbers or a complete redone touring car from head to toe.

Telling someing to put the original engine back in the car to get the matchig numbers back in there is telling them, 'If you throw 5k in this charger it will double in value' and we all know where those discussions end up at......

Im sure you will be able to sell it eventually to someone who has that thinking that they are 'investing' in something that will increase in value the minute they buy it
