Back when I got a divorce I sold my Model A Ford to a buddy for $1.00 thinking that if I didn't own it she couldn't get her "portion" of it in the proceedings. WRONG.

Huh?  You mean your ex got next to you for 50 cents?

Still looking for 15x7 Appliance slotted mags.....

it is limited slip rearend with a 8 3/4

There's a metal tag on one of the bolts of the pumpkin that will say which gear ratio it has.  2.76 to 4.10.  Since it's a 318 car it probably has 2.76 or 3.23 gears in it.  The fender tag will say what gears you have also.

All I'm going to say is, I lost 2 of my 3 Charger's, and my '89 lifted Ramcharger 4spd, and my own business cause of my ex wife :P :icon_smile_dissapprove: :rotz:

No offense but plugging your car into the NADA site as a 440 car means they gave you a high estimate on an RT.  Just because you added a 440 doesn't mean its equal in value to a factory 440 car.  That isn't to say the 32 price isn't closer and without seeing the car I can't comment, but the high estimate you offer as an incentive to buy at the lower price is a bit out of whack.  Advertising I guess, you can say its worth a million if you want.  :shruggy:

All I will say is good luck on the firm 32k :popcrn:  I hope you get it   That will definetly mean the market is turning around :Twocents:

I'm curious, because I've seen this before and don't understand it.............. why in your Craigslist add did you post your phone number the way you did?   Six 4 (three) and so on?   What's the point in that?

Thanks.  Just curious.

sixty8charger

Often times when you post the number as a digital number you can get a lot of calls that are not necessarily relevant to the item you are selling.  When you spell it out and make it inconvenient to the probing sites that try and send drones thorough the net looking for your number, you get real people who are interested in actually calling.   At least that is what I understand of it... :Twocents:

The Chances "There's a metal tag on one of the bolts of the pumpkin that will say which gear ratio it has.  2.76 to 4.10." Chances are it it's long gone.  Remember it 40 plus years old and I bet it's long gone.

Since it's numbers matching car I've got a feeling it's still there.  I've got a feeling this might be a pretty nice car.  Just a feeling.   Then again, Friday night rum & coke could be part of that feeling.   :icon_smile_cool:

Chuck would the build sheet have the ratio?

skip68

Yes it would.  If the build sheet is in good condition that's a plus.    :2thumbs:
This is starting to sound like you have a 1 or 2 owner survivor car.  Do you know some history of the car?

I bought the car from the original owner

skip68

Sweeeeeeet.
That's what I was thinking.  That's very rare to buy from the original owner.   Looking forward to seeing more pictures.   You should start a thread about your one owner Charger with pictures.
