I don't see much Aztec styling in the Volt? :shruggy:  Then again I haven't seen any on the road yet to compare them to the old Pontiac.
Obviously, you didn't get it.  I wasn't talking about the style.
I was making the comparison of them being a flop

pushing them on the public when they are not wanted
GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

Ghoste

The Aztek wasn`t so much pushed on us though as it was just too ugly to sell.  The other one however does seem to get more thanits fair share of federal encouragement.

JB400

It's funny, Dodge built the 99 Charger concept at the same time as the Aztec concept was built.  Everyone wanted the charger built, but they didn't.  No one wanted the Aztec built and they did.  Guess that's the way the world turns.

This cuda gonna have a hybrid battery also? I would love for a muscle to have all electric or hybrid so we can save the ozone layer on earth so that my great, great, great, great, great grandkids can still live on earth and not mars.  :shruggy:

Don't be surprised if that stuff does happen someday.  As for saving the ozone for the future, I am all for it IF I believed that human activity was depleting the ozone or causing global warming or climate change or whatever the cause du jour is.

I assume you don't believe global warming is caused by man?  For me personally,  there ain't enough proof.  In my opinion, yes, we're warming up,  but what makes that so different from the warmup from past glaciations?  It could be we're just here to witness it.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

That cuda rendering will be nothing like the final production version. imo it'll look exactly like the challenger, with a different nose, front and badge.

what's different is previous warmings took centuries, this one has taken 50 years. I think humans are the cause, but reducing carbon should not be the primary concern. There are far more insidious pollution than carbon dioxide.

I REALL REALLY REALLY hope Dodge builds this cuda  man its gonna kick ass..I seriously also hope they keep making the new dodge charger till 2020 that would be awesome..especially with a electric or hybrid charger with a 1.3L engine that gets 80mpg....that would be cool...

So Australia was under ice up to 1962?  Here in N.A., the ice hasn't covered the continent in over 10,000 years.  The planet has been warming up ever since.  Man was not the cause.  Woman maybe.  The planet has its cycles.  It warms up, it cools off.  Yes, the industrial revolution has contributed to the rapid increase,  but it's not the primary cause.

If next summer's heatwave is like 2012, I doubt we will feel much better knowing it would have gotten this hot in another 10,000 years anyway.

mars has land for sale already..........thanks to rover

Ghoste

So did the moon but I don't plan to move there either.  I figure both of those places will be subject to the same natural cycles as Earth.

Mike DC

The moon is a lot less complicated of a surface & atmosphere compared to earth.  Mars might have long term fluctuations though.

Ghoste

  Fair enough, meteor collisions notwithstanding.

I'm not taking my charger to either of those two dust bowls..............it's black remember.   :smilielol:
