Stuart don't forget to put Trans fluid in the transmission before you set it back on the ground.

That would be bad...

Maybe you sould go put a note on the windshield today as a reminder so you don't get excited and start the car  :2thumbs: that would be bad

yeah, gear oil just gets in the way of the gears, shifts quicker without it..........................  this is the Stuart way............................. :D

Pretty bad when you have to call the feds to fill up your tranny :D

well i'm totally stumped now i guess i have a 2nd bad throw out bearing ?  or did the same thing wrong twice  :shruggy: because this one wont pump up either and is dumping fluid out
the center of it  ?????????????

well before we figured out the throw out bearing wasnt working we filled the tranny with fluid

Are you sure your lines are hooked up right?  Is there a bevel on their like on brake lines?  I'm wondering if maybe one fitting might be a 45* and another 37* or something similar.

Maybe a fitting needs some sealant of some sort on it? :shruggy:

well hopefully third times a charm

  third throw out bearing goes in saturday

 american power train also made us a spacer  to push the throw out further so the bearing will engage the clutch before
reaching the end of it throw and leaking

had a hickup in that the spacer was a hair to large to fit behind the throw out bearing

  but we get it machined today late and should be able it get it all installed this week / weekend

Tony went back to the drawing board and made a new B-body / viper to T-56 tranny crossmember
this one butts upto and bolts behind the current tranny/ torsion bar crossmember . This allow you to cut out the center of the tunnel and support then bolt this up behind whats left .
