My Son and I took the Week-end of Sept 7th and 8th off to go to the Frankenmuth MI car show. I have friends in the area that strongly suggested it may be worth our while to give it a look. It was great with fairly good weather and a ton of cool cars plus a fair amount of Mopar stuff. Here are some of the ones we photoed over that weekend :2thumbs:.

Still more cool Mopars...this show drew a lot of cars from both southern Michigan and Southern Ontario.

Did you make the Friday night street party?  That is always a good time!   :2thumbs:
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

Only wing car I seen in attendance plus a couple of AAR's. The bird was a six pack car. My 19 year old Son's first real encounter with a wing car...his words "Holy Sh--...now I see what all the hoopla is about". We live a sheltered life in Northern Michigan and for all my ranting about wing cars he just wasn't all that enthused until he actually laid eyes on one .

My parents go each year and keep telling me I should attend but work always seems to interfere.  Maybe next year I'll make the trip too.

Thanks for posting pictures.

I was in Frankenmuth that week, but could not stick around for the show.

Oh ya we made the Friday night party...even managed to get into Zehnders for the chicken dinner. Rain kind of put a damper on things about 9PM on Friday...but Saturday was near perfect with low humidity and a cool breeze. The black 70 X and red 69 R/T vert were just plain awesome as far as I was concerned! A last few and I will wrap this up before I have the worlds longest post as far as photos goes...guess you will all know we had a blast and already are planning for going next year.

One last because after scrolling through the 450 odd photos we took it seems there were 2 69R/T verts at the show one with black interior we seen on Friday evening and another with red interior seen on Saturday!

Lots.
And how many more years are you going to say that?

At least as many as it takes.  Work takes precedence with me so some of these things may not take place until I retire and currently I plan to work until I die. :icon_smile_big:
