Title says it all. Thanks for the help.

I'm sure I have one or two at home so will post later.

EDIT:

Just remembered this one as well, painful as it is.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

 I don't think you could get one factory. They had set guidelines on putting light colored tops on light colored cars.  It'd have to be something someone did aftermarket.  But there are loopholes.

Troy

I have pictures of one (and only one) somewhere. I probably found it here though.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

There was a guy on the old board who had a triple white 2nd gen.  I think he was from the Netherlands.  I recall it as being an original car but it's been too long to be sure and if mopar never did white on white then I guess it was not a general public car.

This is the only one I had on my pc.  I apparently no longer have a pic of the triple white.

Thanks for the help guys. I really like that last one, I think that's the direction I'm heading. Mine will have a red tailstripe though.

The brochure states a black or white vinyl top could be ordered with any exterior color.... and white interior (C6), was available with white exterior.

The (C6) white interior was never totally white.  They were white/black, white/blue, white/green, and white/red. From my understanding the seats and door panels were always white whenever (C6) was ordered. The third digit of the code (C6#) determined the carpet, dash panel, and accent trim color.

from my research a "3X White" Charger (with interior accent) was available and could be ordered back then :2thumbs:

Also as strange as it sounds, any colored tail stripe (red, black, white) could be ordered with any exterior color.

I realize this seems unrealistic but its been proven.... so you're covered there. :yesnod:

I doubt that you could get a white stripe on a white car or a red stripe on a red car.  Mine says you can't get a black stripe on a black car, but being so popular, it wouldn't surprise me if they did.  Personally, I like black on black.

:iagree:   The 1969 Dealer Color and Upholstery guide says the same thing.

"C6" decodes as:
C =  Charger Trim Grade
6 =  Vinyl Bucket Seats

The third digit (X, D, G, R, T or W) would dictate the overall color of the interior - meaning C6W would be white.  To my knowlege, all white interior cars got black carpet regardless of the exterior paint color (someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what the 1969 Dealer Color & Upholstery Book says).

Both Black (C6X, as well as C5X Black cloth/vinyl) and White (C6W) interior trim options were the only colors "recommended" with any exterior color, so a triple-white combo was most definitely available.

I think the "white and <some color>" interior was only valid in 68. After that the white interior was always white/black.
