Automotive themed restarants

I went to a place yesterday with my wife callled Motor Burger which being next to Detroit you can safely guess had a strong American automotive theme to it.  As we were eating I got to thinking that within a one hour drive of my house there are four automotive themed places to eat.  Now this might not seem like a big deal to some but I don't exactly live in downtown LA or Indianapolis or anything.  It's pretty rural where I reside so this was a pretty cool revelation to me.  We have a car themed pizza joint, a car related higher end place a car greasy spoon type place and the aforementioned burger joint.  What kind of automotive eatery's do you the rest of you have?

There used to be a What-a-Burger on the loop in Tyler Tx that was decorated with things from the 50's including rear ends of 50's cars made into booths. Real nice. Took a cruise last spring and one resturant on the ship was semi decorated in an auto theme. This pic is from the ship.

There is a place close to me called the Chatterbox.  Old style drive in resturaunt that has the girls come out to the cars with the food or you can eat inside.  Inside they have a car on display (that they rotate out occasionally), an old motorcycle, rail type race car, and a whole bunch of pics of old movie posters, etc all over the inside of the place.  The kids meals come in a little cardboard cut out of a car also.

It's not auto related, but we have one burger joint that has been around since the early 50's.  Still a good place to go. Called White Grill.  Still decorated in 50's style as well. :2thumbs: :coolgleamA:

When I was in Ohio to pick up parts about 7 or 8 years ago, the guy I got the parts from suggested going to a place called "Quaker Steak And Lube". We stopped there, but it was way too crowded with a long wait so we just looked around, took a few pics & left. My daughter was pretty young at the time so long waits in loud, crowded restaurants weren't good for the nerves.

These aren't my pics, they're on a disc somewhere.

Same as yours, I'm 45 minutes west of Detroit.  There's a place north of Detroit like that as well but for the life of me can't remember the name.

I'm a bit of an odd duck I guess but I generally don't deal well with the overal car crowd and I really don't do well with fast food so I've never been to any of them.

We love Quaker Steak and Lube.  The picture with the Dale Sr. car is the store here in Fort Wayne.

By far the best wings around.

I'm not sure which one we were at, but they had an old gas tanker truck in the front, a Texaco truck if I recall. I have photos of it, but will have to find them on a disc. The website lists locations in NY but none are close. Oh well, I'll have to wait to try one.

I don't know that I would call it a theme restaurant but Vaughan Mills mall, just north of Toronto, has 4 cars in the food court that I think are more of art pieces than they are theme pieces. I eat there when I take my kids to the mall.

They have a Dart, a Corvair, a Mustang and I think one more but I can't remeber what it  is right now.
