Sorry, yes i was referring to the disc brakes you got from eBay!You mentioned earlier that you have the same drums on the '68 as the ones i posted!

Thanks

"The kit includes 2 inner CNC machined spacer bushings and 2 banjo bolts along with installation information. This kit requires the use of 15" or larger rims; they will not fit 14" rims  (you will need to do some minor non-structural grinding to clear the stock dog dish rims).  Email us directly at tech at scarebird dot com for technical information and install guide as the ebay message center does not allow for attachments."

OK,MY BAD.They sold ONLY the disc brakes and 2 spacer and 2 banjo bolt!I though looking at the picture they had the whole kit for 200$
Never mind here comes my  :shortbus:

The brakes aren't necessarily the cheapest, but for not much more than the rattly a-body style ones ,I'll give them a go.

Well with things winding down on the 69 project, I've turned some focus to the 68.

I had the 440 six pack engine that was sitting there waiting for the 70 project that I decided to sell. I thought about selling off the engine too,but a friend of mine was looking for a six pack set up, so I decided to sell it to him and put a edelbrock rpm intake 750 Holley on it and paint and install it into the 68. I also had another guy wanting the bone stock 350 horse c body 440 , so I was able to upgrade without spending much additional money.

I also added hotchkis torsion bars and a hellwig sway bar. I added bilstein shocks late last year,so im curious to see how it will handle . But of course now that I'm done it's raining.

In that last pic you see a new option I discovered for line on Holley equipped mopar. It's actually repop big block Chevy stuff. Need fittings for 5/16 line at the carb , and to resend the main feed line some, but worked out pretty darn well. Just ran hose from the fuel filter to where I cut off the fed line . I did put a flare on it so the hose can't slip off.

I also wanted to mention that the drop base I used is a generic 14" one that I cut the outer 3/8 " or so off. It was cheap and I can't seem to find the ford one anymore. I will try to get a link later. I worked really good. I have over a half inch of clearance.

Like the fuel line.  What year GM is it from, and what fittings did you have to change?

Is picking up a engine with an aluminum intake a good idea ?  :shruggy:

I've never had any trouble with it. They say not to on a 2nd generation hemi ,but those only have 1/4 inch bolts hold the intake tight.
