I'm also converting it to a four gear. And changing the top to black. Can't leave anything alone.

I like the white top, why swap it out? Or how about go with no vinyl top and let that sweet paint job shine.

The top that was on it(white one) was put on by a guy I don't usually use and I've never been happy with it . It was getting a new one either way. I went round and round with myself and landed on black. I hope I don't regret it. It looks good white I just hope it looks good with black too.

Going to need to update this, got the top and headliner done. The four speed conversion is also done with the exception of the shifter boot. I will try to post pics sometime this weekend.
Also need to start a thread on my 69. Started tearing that down tonight for the body resto.

Brian ? Regarding your disk upgrades, what are scare bird , will they fit in 15" rims ,
I have factory set up just to get past roadworthy registration over here in Australia, without having to engineer it , dont ask ,
There making things more and more difficult here
But going to upgrade very quickly after rego, and want something to fit 15"
By the way very nice car and work to it, have really enjoyed the threads on all your cars , keep posting on them

As for the scarebird brakes. The do fit 15 inch wheels. Here is a link. I love how they use easily accessible parts.

The ones scarebird reccomends. They are from a 71 Torino,Galaxie.

I have to admit the black/white combo really grew on me.  It'll look even better with the V21 treatment next spring.

The wheel is a grant aftermarket 15" model. I liked how it looked somewhat mopar. I grafted a stock horn button onto the chrome grant one and viola ,s stockish looks for 150.00. and its not so thin to hold onto.
