Let me guess, you haven't been married long?  I'm single myself but been around enough guys to know.  Keep the Mrs. happy because she LETS you have your toys.  They're something to keep you happy and preoccupied with until she comes up with something for you to do.  That, and they give you a reason to go to the garage when she's not in one of her better moods.  Her version of a leash.

It takes a lot of determination to find time to get there, but it can be done.when I built my daytona, I woke up every saterday at 3 am. Went to work on it until noon. Got a lot done and still had most of the weekend for the family and work at home.

I'm not a body guy so excuse my ignorance but, why black primer to get to a white car? I always thought the primer color should be close to the final color.?.
That looks like some top notch work. The next time you get bored let me know. My Charger project is taking waaayyy too long!!!

The black primer that you see is mostly ecoat. The doors , hood , fenders. All amd. So I sprayed the rest black . All of it will be stripped and sprayed with white epoxy before any filler work.

Absolutely,but not until the renders are painted white.

Been a while since I updated this. Here are  some pics of where its at right now. As some of you may know my Dad is also building a 68 . He didnt want to tackle his grill , dash and steering column, so we make a trade . I do that stuff for him and He does the filler work on the shell.(cowl top,roof,dutchman,tailpanel,and valance,along with the 1/4s. Im going to take a week off in January to block it out and get it in final primer. While that sets and dries out good. We will be blocking Dads for the final time to Shoot the QQ1.
