Is there a source for finding seat belt assemblies for the 73s? I have a bench seat setup, and the retractor assembly on the passenger side is all bound up and nonfunctional. At the moment I didn't see anything on eBay. Are there any repros out there?

Thanks,
Adam

THERE IS AN OPTION:

I got a deal with that guy for JUST the female buckle wich is actually just 74 ( I need it to my 74 ). Mostly sure he still has the retractor which is correct for 72/73

I don't think bucket and bench are diff, or E and B body on this case. I know buckets and bench are diff on females.

Adam,
What color do you need ... I replaced my parchemnt interior with white.  So the ones I have a tan(ish) and work fine.

My car is gold interior but it doesn't matter too much as I have plans to turn that into black interior when I tear the car apart again, so I'd be dying any usable interior parts that are in good shape.

These do not dye well.  With the amount of use they get, you are better off finding black ones if that is what you are doing.  The color will wear off quickly.

On a 73/4 was the third (center) seat belt in the back seat a standard thing in 73?
I ask because the one in mine (the push-button black portion) is a different size than the other 2. Looks as if it may have been added.
And while this car is not 100% correct, if EVERYONE has one, I don't want to leave it off.
If not, it's history!   :popcrn:

Nacho-RT74

all 3rd gens have the rear center. Male, manually adjustable belt. female, a litle bit longer belt ( as far I remember ) than the outer bench locations

Thought it may be.  Thing is the center is larger.

Nacho, that must be a 74 thing.  That is NOT what I have in my 73.
HOWEVER, when I grabbed a bunch of stuff out of a 74 at the yard, it had one.  I didn't take it because frankly it looked like a GM belt to me.  But it was still there the last time I saw the car.
If the car is still there I will grab it for you my next trip.   :2thumbs:

I've still been looking...have not found the right piece or set.

Found a reproduction from a place called Morris Classic Concepts. They look decent. Anyone have experience with these? One thing I can see is that there's no plug for the seatbelt buzzer. My car is a daily summer driver with many replacement parts so it's not a perfect original so I have no qualms about putting on a new set of belts from a manufacturer.

The other option I came across is from XV. It seems that these are supposed to be drop-in for the B-bodies, but it also says it's designed for bucket seats and mine is a front bench. Anyone have thoughts or experiences with these?
