Great pix Dan.  How'd you know it would come over your house?

I heard that the Endeavour was going to do a flyby of Moffett Field, where work was done in support of the Shuttle program, to honor the employees. As I happen to live under the approach to the main runway, a mile or so away, I waited a few hours until it appeared. As one of my relatives put it "there was finally a positive to having all the past aircraft fly over our home all these years".   ;)  Again, an amazing machine. I've attached a few more photos of the flyby.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Interesting. Nasa used to have T-38s as chase plans. I guess they upgraded.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Here's a cool video of the LA overflight and landing at LAX.

Wow, thanks for that.   :2thumbs:

It would have been cool to just ride in the shuttle.

I still don't understand why they are going to have a Toyota Tundra pull it to its final spot. Why not a American company, even a Ford, as long as it is an AMERICAN company. And this is coming from a guy that gets his paycheck from Toyota
I'm smarter than I act, But I don't act smarter than I am.

Yea, that is Bullshit.
Also, I think this tread should have read "X Space Shuttle being carried around" technically it is not flying. :nana:

It's in the air, it's flying.  Even if not under its own propulsion
