Dick Landy 69 Super Bee?

An RT, there are plenty of photos of that one.  He ran a 69 RT Coronet as well.

would have been a pretty late car as it seems to have the hood paint treatment (blacked hood scoops)

I've got a few pictures of both of Landy's Coronets, the 1968 and the 1969 versions.
I'll have to post them here when I'm back in the proximity of my computer.

Seen one of Landys '67 Coronet's with Mary Ann Foss's name on the door.

Never saw that one but for some reason I had always assumed that it was just Dick and Mike until the 1970 season.

Sure enough, Dick Landy ran a 1968 Coronet...here's the proof!

Digging up an old one here but in that pic of the unpainted Super Bee on Landy's trailer, would that car having the black hood scoops like that have the Scat Pack option or could you order the scoops like that on their own?

I thought that they were always body color on the B Body.  A Body you could get them black.  Maybe a last minute addition?

No there was a little known option for Super Bees in 69 called the Scat Pack option and among the things offered on with it were the blacked out scoops.  What I'm not sure of though is if you could order them separately.

You're right about the Scat Pack. I double checked.  That car is not one of those. It'd have the scoops on the sides as well that were black.  It's safe to assume that you could possibly get the scoops seperate.
