Oh right, Led Zep in a reggae style by an Elvis impersonator.

That's original.  ::)

Love DZ!

I've got 4-5 of their cds. What's not to like about Brick Houses of the Holy?

They play Knuckleheads a few times a year. I wish they'd come east again.

What a fun show.

My dad (who turned 69 this July) still goes to Knuckleheads every time Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen plays.  Considering it's a 4 hour drive from where he lives, that's sayin' something.  He loves the venue.

I'll have to ask him if he's heard of DZ.  It's off-beat enough for his tastes.

I asked my Dad if he'd ever heard of DZ and he said he had heard the name but didn't know much about them.  He was pretty sure they played the Duck Room at Blueberry Hill right before Knuckleheads, and a check of DZ's website confirmed his suspicions.  I told him you thought it was a good show, so he'll probably catch them the next time they're in town.

I think they said on KMOX just the other day that he still mows the lawn at his mini-estate/compound.   :o
