Anyone tried Napa Synthetic oil, is it decent? For $3.48/qt I was wondering if it's any good. I have a car that requires synthetic oil and I could switch to Napa if its decent.

NAPA label oil used to be produced by Ashland Oil Co., a.k.a. Valvoline.  Haven't read the label in a while, so check it out.

WE use NAPA's "Wolfs Head" oil all the time in the shop. Full synthetic. Haven't had any problems.

Info on line says that NAPA's generic line is made by Valvoline (Ashland). But the info from Valvoline is dated October 2006.

Even if it still is made by them, it's doubtful it's the same configuration and quality as the branded Valvoline.  :Twocents:
