So, how much does it cost to sell a car on E-bay ?

Is it a percentage, or what?

What if it doesn't sell, how much do you pay then?

It's been several years since I sold anything on E-bay...

Usually around $125.00. 

Sometimes they run specials, or free listing for one day only deals, or free pictures, whether you have a reserve or not, Buy It Now price. . . it all depends.

For a couple years they had a special that your first 5 listings a year are free. I already used mine up this year, waiting to see if they will do it again.

I know it typically costs more to have a reserve (which most car sellers do).  Any idea what that's like on a car?  I've sold minor stuff over the years but never used a reserve because of the extra fees.

You can have no reserve but start the car at a price you would sell.  You can also do a for sale price or best offer as well, but I am not sure on the fee

I don't actually ever plan on selling a rig through ebay.  To me, I only use it cause it's the best advertisement for the money.

If it's a car I always end the auction on a weekend day early afternoon.  That way all the real money comes into play.  Two out of 3 cars I've listed sold within an hour after the auction ended.

I have listed a couple of cars on ebay they both sold but niether sold on ebay.  My truck moved pretty fast on Craigslist.
