My 66 has a Thompson steering pump and ive found out one main difference between it and a Saginaw-availability at Notozone or "Ohreallys?".Oreillys and Napa says it has to be sent off for weeks to the Manufacturer and the manager let it set on his desk for a week and a half while he went on vacation even after I talked to him beforehand, its sitting there now waiting for me to pick it up and try something else. The Saginaw would mean changing alot of stuff, brackets, belt, hoses, after I spent the money buying one w no core, anybody knows who sells rebuilt Thompsons w/o getting robbed?Id like to keep the Thompson but if something else is far cheaper then Ill go there.
This is gonna be cheap and easy......

Have you tried Rock Auto, or a local NAPA store in your area?
If you decide you might want to go used, i have all types of pumps, on the wall at my storage locker. Federal, Thompson, and Saginaw.
