How do we know that the Mr. Norms car ain't a clone?

It's Govier documented and it has the complete vehicle history documentation.  Feel free to read the ad again. :coolgleamA:

Car was well documented before GG ever saw it.

Norm screwed it up with that goofy hood scoop & hood pins.

Edit:

Holy crap, the K-frame & frame rails look like swiss cheese! There is an easier way to shave 3 lbs off the nose than going through all that. It sure makes me wonder what else has been butchered. No wonder the car is priced so low (for a Hemi car). ::)

Ghoste

More likely customer specified though.  (it could have been a Norm addition to dealer stock but I think he was more into customer spec )

 :o
They just added like 150 crumple zones! No way would I drive that thing before changing frame rails & a K-frame.

Psst: I'd STILL take it over the F&F car.  :yesnod:

yeah saw that !!  :iagree:   ,  could live with the k frame lightning / core support/ licence frame , hood pins , maybe  , but   that silly hood scoop ,  frame rails WFT , how much weight that going to save  :brickwall: ,  would love this charger  :drool5:, but ! could not live with these  :shortbus: customisation ideas  ! cant fix the frame rails or hood ! cause then it wont be  unrestored , would not be seen dead with a hood scoop like that :Twocents:

Car has been that way if not since new then since very close to it.  I would leave it as is.  That car is a representative of another time.

well the FandF is FAKE...so yeah of course...that whole car is fake!!!!!

Though you have to admit the FandF series ignited the charger craze for the new kids......love it or hate the FandF is a awesome brain dead movie to watch.

And just like Bullitt/DMCL/VP/Etc., it too will go down as that type of car movie.

Yep, I totally get that. It is a complete time capsule.
But as far as a safety concern that's downright scary. If that car were impacted it would crumple like tin foil, and not in a good way.

This is tough. Do you just look at it, or make it safe & roadworthy and then just look at it?   :icon_smile_big:

To me it would be just look at it.

I think I read an article about that car years ago.  The owner did the holesaw work on it when it was new.  Hacked it up pretty good for barely a few pounds of weight removed.

I think they both would be just musuem pieces.  Something else for someone to clean.
